Band Parent Organization (BPO)
As a 501c3 non-profit organization, the Band Parents mission is to provide financial and supportive assistance necessary for all students to have a quality music education. We encourage, cheer, chaperone, cook, clean, and fundraise. We have the privilege of working with these young adults as they become mature people and musicians.
We also become an extended family as we see our students grow and develop. Each parent of a band student are automatically a member of this group and are highly encouraged to attend all band activities. Much of the success of the band program is due directly or indirectly to volunteer help. The Band Parent Board typically meets the first Monday of each month at 7:00pm in the PHS band room. Parents are encouraged to attend any of these meetings.
